Who are Orchard Hearing
Orchard Hearing located on Congleton road, Sandbach was established by Kirstie Ramsden in July 2021. With help from her partner Kris, together they refurbished and converted the practice in Sandbach to provide a state-of-the-art Audiology facility.
Kirstie has gained valuable experience in her career leading to the practice she owns and runs today. Starting out in 2007 she worked in Audiology at the Royal Stoke University Hospital as a Hearing Aid Technician and this progressed to Newborn Hearing Screening, testing babies hearing on the maternity ward.
It was during this time Kirstie went to night school to study British Sign Language which led to studying Audiology at De Montfort University, gaining a Distinction.
Kirstie has a wealth of experience in the Audiology Sector undertaking hearing assessments, fitting hearing aids and rehabilitation. She is fully trained in earwax removal and can offer alternative methods to suit individual needs, including microsuction, irrigation and instrumentation.
To ensure the best service and customer satisfaction the practice provides state of the art facilities and equipment including an audiometric booth for testing, guaranteeing acoustic performance and compliance with all leading industry standards.
A note from Kirstie
My aim has always been to provide healthcare in a welcoming, friendly setting—one that feels far removed from the typical clinical environment. Many of our patients comment on how personal, relaxed, and modern the practice feels, which helps me build strong, one-to-one relationships with each individual. One of the things people really appreciate is the convenient, free parking right across the road at Scotch Common Car Park.
I find my work incredibly fulfilling. Every day, I have the opportunity to help people hear better and, in turn, improve their overall quality of life. It’s a real joy to witness a patient’s face light up—whether it’s after a simple earwax removal or the moment their new hearing aids are switched on. I truly love what I do.
As a local resident, I’m lucky to live just a short walk from the practice. When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, whether that’s taking a stroll through Sandbach Park or making the most of the great shops and entertainment options Sandbach has to offer.
Where we are
Orchard Hearing is located in the centre of the historic Cheshire market town of Sandbach. There is free parking available opposite the practice on the Scotch Common carpark and buses run regularly from Crewe, Nantwich, Congleton, Alsager and Stoke on Trent.
